The Acteon MiniLED™ Ortho 2 is a cordless, orthodontic-specific curing light delivering 3000 mW/cm² of output power across a broad 420–480nm emission spectrum, engineered to polymerize any current bonding material used in orthodontics quickly and reliably.
Unlike general-purpose curing lights, the Ortho 2 offers four dedicated exposure times — 4, 8, 12, and 32 seconds — specifically studied to move efficiently from one bracket to the next or cure an entire arch in a single pass. Exposure alerts are user-configurable (micro-flash, single beep, double beep, or silent) to match clinician workflow preferences.
The absence of UV in its emission spectrum reduces heat production at the tip, improving patient comfort and operator safety during extended bonding sessions. Its slim Ø24 x 201mm cordless body with a Ø5.5mm light guide is sized for easy intraoral access to brackets across the arch.
Built for full clinical days, a single charge on the included base station supports up to 15 patients at maximum power without needing a recharge. The base charger also integrates a radiometer, letting staff check battery status at a glance via color-coded light signals.
MedicalZenith supplies the Acteon MiniLED Ortho 2 to orthodontic and dental practices across Indonesia, with sourcing support, accessories (including the Ø7.5mm light guide option), and after-sales assistance.
This is frequently paired with Biolase Waterlase Laser iPlus 2.0 and Monet Laser Curing Light for a more complete setup.
