Durr VistaScan Perio Plus
Dürr VistaScan Perio Plus
The Dürr VistaScan Perio Plus is a multi-slot phosphor plate scanner built to move practices from analog film to efficient digital radiography without changing the exposure workflow dental teams already know. It reads, erases, and returns image plates to service in a single pass — turning film-based habits into a fast digital process with minimal retraining.
Batch Processing for Busy Practices
Four cassettes, each holding two image plates, load in one step and are processed one after another. The scanner reads out and erases up to eight images in a single cycle, with a half-status update appearing on screen in around 30 seconds — cutting down waiting time for both clinician and assistant so more time goes to patient care.
Consistent, High-Resolution Imaging
Compatible with the full range of VistaScan image plates from size 0 to 4, including occlusal formats, the Perio Plus supports every standard intraoral imaging need. Combined with Dürr Dental's Photon Collecting System (PCS) technology, it delivers image quality up to 22 lp/mm — sharper than conventional X-ray film — supporting confident, detailed diagnosis.
Fits Into Any Software Environment
The Perio Plus works seamlessly with Dürr's DBSWIN imaging software for an ergonomic, guided workflow, and remains fully compatible with most third-party imaging software already installed in the practice. Connectivity via USB or network makes integration into existing PC setups straightforward.
Built on Decades of X-Ray Expertise
Backed by more than 40 years of Dürr Dental's radiography development, the VistaScan Perio Plus offers a dependable, cost-effective path to digital imaging with reusable plates that eliminate the need for chemical processing or film storage.
Clinics building out this category often also consider FONA CDR Dental X-Ray System and Dentsply Sirona Schick AE Sensor.
