InMode BodyTite is a minimally invasive Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) platform designed to combine internal fat removal with three-dimensional skin tightening in a single procedure, positioned by InMode as an alternative to more extensive excisional body-contouring surgery.
The BodyTite handpiece uses a bipolar configuration: an internal electrode on a silicone-coated cannula is introduced into the fat layer while a corresponding external electrode glides over the skin surface. RF energy travels between the two electrodes with simultaneous aspiration, coagulating fat through volumetric heating while contracting the dermis and subdermal connective tissue matrix. Built-in safeguards — real-time skin and internal temperature monitoring, impedance sensing, and automatic power cut-off — help keep treatment within safe therapeutic ranges throughout the session.
Depth of treatment reaches up to 50mm in body areas (3–25mm for facial applications with the corresponding handpiece), with internal temperature adjustable between roughly 50–70°C and external skin temperature capped at an operator-set limit up to 43°C. This directional RF profile lets clinicians build a controlled heat gradient from the deep fat layer up to the skin surface for consistent, predictable contraction.
BodyTite is commonly used for arm lifts, breast lifts, and abdominal or thigh contouring without the excisional scarring associated with traditional surgery, and sits within InMode's broader RFAL family alongside FaceTite, AccuTite, and Morpheus8.
