How the Soprano XLi Works

For hair removal, the Soprano XLi uses a gold standard 810nm diode laser and combines it with exclusive IN-MotionTM technology.

Low fluencies of up to 20 J/cm2 penetrate deep into the dermis at a high repetition rate of 10 pulses-per-second to deliver high average power. By gradually heating the dermis to a temperature that damages the hair follicles, re-growth is prevented while cooling from the Sapphire tip protects the surrounding skin from injury.

The near-infrared (NIR) module provides uniform energy distribution with a huge 18cm2 spot size to produce deep dermal heating—without damage to the epidermis—for improvement in skin laxity.
