Cynosure Picosure
PicoSure, in combination with the innovative FOCUS Lens Array, enables novel approaches to skin revitalization and revenue generation not achievable with other laser systems. The Focus Lens Array concentrates energy to create laser-induced breakdowns (LIOB) in the epidermis. These LIOBs produce pressure waves that extend into the dermis, triggering cell signaling and enhancing the inflammatory healing response. This results in increased collagen and elastin production without the thermal injury associated with other lasers. Patients typically experience only a few hours of mild redness, and with a few treatments, they can achieve results similar to ablative technologies for pigmentation, wrinkles, and acne scars.
