The Lumenis –SPLENDOR X laser hair removal with BLEND X technology, combines the ND: YAG (1064nm) laser and the Alexandrite (755nm) laser. The different wavelengths can be synchronized to be fired independently or simultaneously. The Alexandrite laser is great for treating lighter skin and the ND:YAG laser is great for treating darker skin, but not everyone’s skin type is purely on one end of the spectrum or the other. The SPLENDOR X laser has the ability to adjust both wavelengths with varying proportions to tailor treatment, according to the individual’s skin type, hair color and thickness.
SPLENDOR X features a unique square-shaped laser spot that safely covers every single inch of skin being treated. The square spot shape eliminates overlap and hot spots for uniform skin coverage.
